Sold Out Doesn’t Mean Gone
One of the biggest myths in Disney planning is that “sold out” means “gone forever.” It does not. It means gone right now. And yes, that difference matters.
MouseQueue tracks Lightning Lane availability throughout the day, and the restock data is wild. Some rides come back over and over again.
On average:
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train restocks about 21 times per day.
Slinky Dog Dash restocks about 20 times per day.
Rise of the Resistance restocks about 18 times per day.
Cosmic Rewind restocks about 12 times per day.
TRON restocks about 11 times per day.
So when the app says sold out, do not immediately give up and go stress-buy a churro. Well, actually, still buy the churro. But also know that availability can come back.
The best general refresh windows are:
10–11 AM
2–3 PM
7–8 PM
That is when cancellations, no-shows, and plan changes tend to shake loose more availability. Basically, Disney guests are chaotic. MouseQueue just tracks the chaos.
