Best Time to Ride Spaceship Earth

Over the past 90 days, Spaceship Earth has averaged about 13 minutes in the standby line. Waits are shortest in the evening (7 PM onward), running around 8 minutes, and peak midday (11 AM-2 PM) at roughly 18 minutes. Spaceship Earth is also open during Early Entry, so resort guests can knock it out in the first 30 minutes with almost no wait. Otherwise, ride in the evening (7 PM onward) or in the final hour before EPCOT closes.

Lightning Lane Strategy for Spaceship Earth

Spaceship Earth is a Tier 2 Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction at EPCOT. Since demand is moderate, it is usually not worth using one of your earliest selections here. Focus first on harder-to-get rides, then use Spaceship Earth later as a convenient filler pick if it fits your route through World Celebration. Most groups are fine riding it standby, especially in the evening when waits are usually shortest.
