Best Time to Ride Test Track

Over the past 90 days, Test Track has averaged about 72 minutes in the standby line. Waits are shortest first thing in the morning (8-10 AM), running around 64 minutes, and peak midday (11 AM-2 PM) at roughly 77 minutes. Test Track is also open during Early Entry, so resort guests can knock it out in the first 30 minutes with almost no wait. Otherwise, ride first thing in the morning (8-10 AM) or in the final hour before EPCOT closes.

Lightning Lane Strategy for Test Track

Test Track is a Tier 1 selection in Lightning Lane Multi Pass — the top demand category at EPCOT. You can pick only one Tier 1 attraction in your first three Multi Pass selections, so if Test Track matters to your group, make it your Tier 1 priority and book it the moment your window opens at 7 AM. Its Lightning Lane demand is very high — the return supply sells out on roughly 80% of days, often on the same day. Book right when the 7 AM window opens and your return time usually lands around 6:55 PM. Even after it sells out, watch the app for restocks — on sell-out days Test Track restocks about 68% of the time, most often around 2 PM.

Test Track is a simulator in World Discovery at EPCOT. The experience runs about 5 minutes, takes place outdoors, and has a 40-inch height requirement, so check younger guests before you queue. A single rider line is available for shorter waits.
